International Telework Association and Council (ITAC). ITAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the growth and success of work independent of location. The group sponsors Telework America and other research, holds educational events, distributes publications, disseminates information about telework, and assists businesses and the public to optimize the advantages of working remotely. When Work Works: A special project of the Family and Work Institute, which
contains a wealth of information on workplace effectiveness and flexibility, including
tips for companies, supervisors and employees. The latest research, funded by
IBM from the "When Work Works" project, includes a free, downloadable summary
of research findings, and information about the Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Business
Excellence in Workplace Flexibility. Companies can also submit their profile on
flexibility, and read case studies on flexibility initiatives in other companies.

Women's Bureau, U.S. Department of Labor: Visit the Women's Bureau website and learn more about its Strengthening the Family Initiative in the areas of Financial Security, Technology, Worker Shortage and Workplace Flexibility. Work & Family Connection: An organization dedicated to helping work-life professional and employers create a workplace that is supportive and effective.
